Starting the day with a healthy school breakfast ensures that children have the nutrition they need to learn and thrive. A wide body of research supports the health and educational benefits of participation in the School Breakfast Program.
How do I Apply?
This year we will be offering a Grab & Go Breakfast as the students arrive to school. Below are two ways your child can receive breakfast:
Apply for the Free and Reduced Meal Program. Once we receive confirmation, your child will receive breakfast each morning.
If paying yourself, create a K12 Payment Center Account, deposit and manage your students meal account. Your student can request a breakfast pack each morning. (Cash Not Accepted)
Full Cost $2.50 each pack
Reduced Cost $ .30 each pack
Breakfast Cart serving hours: 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM
Student can stop by the cart between serving hours and request their breakfast.
Student can take their breakfast and eat at their desk.
Applying for the Free and Reduced Meal Program is easy and fast. Families wishing to receive these benefits in the 2020-2021 school year will have to re-apply using the electronic application.
Free and Reduced Meal Program - COVID-19 Update
Premier High School of Austin North will continue distributing free Grab & Go Breakfast Packs for Premier Austin North students in the Free & Reduced Meal Program throughout the COVID-19 period. Breakfast pack distribution will continue each Monday from 8:00 am to 8:30 am and will be held each Monday until further notice. Parents may pickup the breakfast packs but must present ID at time of pick-up. Grab and Go breakfast packs include cereal or cereal bar, snack bites, juice, milk and craisins or raisins. Families in the program will receive 5 breakfast packs each week.

If your family has an interest in additional meal service options during the closure, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has informed us that ResponsiveEd families can visit the locations listed on the website for free school meal pick-up (breakfast and lunch). Free meal service will continue as school closures persist due to COVID-19. Each school have meal pick-up requirements, please check the schools website for these requirements.
